The College was established in the year 2001 with an objective to impart quality education to students in the field of Technology and Management studies. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. Within a short span, GNEC got Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institution has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification and is well-equipped with qualified teaching professionals. GNEC has emerged as one of the Premier Engineering College in the State with an overall intake of 792 students in various undergraduates and post graduates courses including BTech, MTech, MBA and MCA.
It comes as no surprise, that a number of our students have been placed in reputed organizations. And the zeal showed by organizations in coming to our college for campus recruitment year after year only heightens our commitment to raise the standards, set even higher than the preceding years.
